Events to look forward to in June 2016 in Paris

Summer in Paris is green and joyous. The capital city of France bursts with laughter and enthusiasm once more as thousands of tourists flood the airports of the metropolis once again. Do we travel for a reason? If the answer is “yes”, here are some of the best events to look forward to in June 2016 in Paris.

Although it might be a bit hazardous at times (especially on the crowded avenues and boulevards, where you have to make your way through a sea of cars), biking is popular among Parisians. On June 5th 2016, they celebrate this officially at the Fete du Velo. Ready for an adventure on… two wheels? If so, you can rent a bike and join the fun as the city prepares for a huge picnic organized in the city center.

You can drop off the bike in several locations, but if the weather is nice, one thing’s for certain: stay outdoors and come ride a bike!

As an alternative, you can admire the beauty of the city by car, with a Paris transfer.

If you’re watching sports on TV, you might already be aware that the greatest tennis tournament, the Roland Garros is ongoing. If you are lucky, you might still get tickets to the last games, since the event will last until June 5th.

Do you like music? The French are renowned for their ear for music and melodic natures. The very French language is regarded by many as one of the most suave and pleasant of all. June is marked by several music events.

The fans of British singer Adele will have the opportunity to hear her live on June 10th at her concert held at the Accor Hotels Aren.

The longest day of the year, June 21st, is the day we are invited to spend the Fete de la Musique, the international day of music, in Paris.
