Christmas and other December 2016 events in Paris

Dear friends (or should we say, chers amis), it has been a long time since we last met here, but alas, the time has come to talk about Christmas and other December 2016 events in Paris, now that winter is almost here and the romantic and melancholy city of lovers prepares to welcome snow and tourists on its Champs Elysees.
Spending Christmas in Paris has been the romantic notion of many a couple along the years and this year you can try a city break there during the holiday season.
Meanwhile, while you’re at the heart of France, here are just a few of the events you could attend this December 2016:
France is known for its amazing cuisine, so you should not be surprised that culinary festivals and cooking contests are often held in Paris. There is one coming up in December, between the 2nd and the 5th: the Salon Saveurs des Plaisirs Gourmands at the Espace Champerret. You can taste excellent food and get together with people who share your passion for cooking in this event.
And a bit later this month, between 16 and 19, you can attend the Noel Gourmand Paris 2016 at the Carrousel du Louvre.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve always wanted to see the amazing artists from Cirque du Soleil perform. You can join me and hundreds of other enthusiasts in Paris this December 7 to 11 at the AccorHotels Arena, Bercy.
An amazing Funfair at the Grand Palais will keep you occupied all those days leading to Christmas. And next thing you know it, the feast of Nativity is here and you can go to Mass at the grand Notre Dame de Paris.
